They’re just beat-repeat presets on the Ableton Beat-repeat app!

It’d be easy to move them or add additional FX.

Native to Live.

Basically I’ve just done a bit of magic with External Instrument to send a MIDI-loop in Ableton out to the APC. The APC buttons light up when you send them MIDI notes, so it’s pretty simple.

See like the 2nd page of your native kontrol manual (it’s called ” acP-CL2+TC2.pdf ” if you want to search for it) for the settings you’re supposed to use. Also, make sure you have MT Player running.

My question is, does anyone understand how exactly those beat repeats work? I’d love to be able to throw effects on them without having to put plugins on the master out. Cheers :]

Wim, you should be able to use Traktor with the 4 decks if you route the audio from traktor into each one of those audio tracks in ableton. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Hey, I’ve downloaded/purchased everything, but when I open the file it says media is missing, namely the midi stuff like Polyrhythm and the builds.

Am I supposed to make these myself or should they come with the zip?

I am trying to understand how did you manage to make the APC clip stop lights sync to the beats of the music playing. Is this part of bome translator, or is native to Live?

Awesome work on the template!

I am hoping you could help me resolve a small issue – the scene launch buttons that trigger master beat repeats do not work the same way as in your video for some reason.

In your video, the beat repeat is on only while you hold the buttons down, yet on mine, beat repeats turn on when the button is released and they stay on until the button is pressed again.

Any idea what I am doing wrong? Using Live 8.1.4 and Native Kontrol with update.

Thx nice template.
Is it possible that i use NI traktor instead of ableton?
The 4 decks from Traktor instead of the 4 of ableton.
I like the FX. Are there any special dificulties where i must keep an eye onwhen i switch the tracks from ableton to the 4 of traktor?
I use Mac with soundflower for routing the audio from traktor to ableton.
